Worca

What Worca is

Worca is a deterministic multi-agent pipeline for AI coding agents. You describe the work, and a state machine drives the agents through clarify, plan, refine, implement and review until the result passes its quality gates, then hands you a reviewed branch one click from a pull request. It ships as a web UI, a CLI and a Claude Code skill in one npm package, @worca/app.

The source is on GitHub at SinishaDjukic/worca-cc under the MIT License. You can use it, change it and ship it, at work or anywhere else, with no permission needed and no fee.

Who makes it

Worca is built and maintained by the Worca Development Community: the people who write the code, the docs and this website, and the contributors who send issues and pull requests. It started as one person's tool and grew from there. The community is not a legal entity, not a company and not a vendor.

Decisions about the code happen in the open, in issues and pull requests on GitHub. If you want to help, start with the contributing guide.

How it is paid for

There is no revenue. Worca has no investors, no sponsors and no paying customers. The website, the docs and the hosted evaluation environment are paid for by the maintainers themselves, as the cost of running a project they want people to try.

What Worca does cost you is whatever your model provider charges for the agents it runs: Claude, GitHub Copilot, OpenRouter or nothing at all with a model on your own machine. Worca holds no keys and adds no margin. See models and costs for how it keeps that spend visible.

Nothing is for sale

Everything described on this site ships in the same free package: the pipeline, the team metrics, the policy in git, the shared server, the security guardrails. There is no edition with more in it, no feature behind a sign-in, and no paid support. If a page here ever reads as if it is selling something, that is a wording mistake, and we would like to hear about it at hello@worca.dev.

The hosted environment is the one thing the project runs rather than ships. It exists so that interested people can evaluate Worca without setting up a server first. It is free, invite-based while capacity is small, and comes with no uptime commitment. For daily work we recommend running Worca yourself, on a laptop or on your own container host.

What you can expect

  • Releases are published on npm and announced in the changelog. You can hear about them by email from the form in the footer.
  • Support is community support: open an issue on GitHub and someone will look. There is no response-time promise.
  • Security findings are welcome by email at hello@worca.dev, so they can be fixed before they are public.
  • Your data stays with you. Worca on your machine keeps its state in one local SQLite database and sends nothing to us. The hosted environment and the newsletter each have their own notes on what they store.

Reporting illegal content or abuse

If you find content on an instance under worca.run that you believe is illegal, or an instance used for spam, phishing, malware or attacks, write to hello@worca.dev with "Abuse" in the subject. Say where it is (the full address) and why you believe it is illegal, and give us a way to reply. The maintainers cannot open an instance, so they act on the whole instance: it can be stopped, and its org's admins are told why. This address is also our point of contact for authorities and users under articles 11 and 12 of the EU Digital Services Act. We can handle requests in English.

Reporting a security problem

If you find a security problem in worca.dev, app.worca.dev, an instance on worca.run or in the Worca software, write to hello@worca.dev with "Security" in the subject, or use GitHub's private vulnerability reporting on the repository. Tell us what is affected and how to reproduce it, test only against your own account and instances, and give us reasonable time to fix it before you publish. We do not take legal action against anyone who reports in good faith and follows these rules. There is no paid bug bounty.

Liability for links

These sites link to other websites, such as GitHub and npm. We have no influence over their content, and their operators are responsible for it. We check links when we add them; if you find a link to illegal content, tell us and we will remove it.
